ABOUT ... SAM I AM

Graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Arts with an emphasis on Graphic Design.  Currently, I am a freelance graphic designer expert with 12 years experience ranging from designing sophisticated logo designs to creating presentations, advertisements and print collateral. I have been freelancing and working with online retail, start up companies and marketing and branding agencies in hopes of searching for a career that would allow me to use my qualified skills. Through this and other undertakings, I have developed excellent organizational skills, concise knowledge of graphic design and production, a flair for detailed work, deep understanding of user-centered design principles and obtained the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks.  I am a team worker who works well with printers, art directors, website and other print designers during tight deadlines. As a designer, I’d also developed a solid sense of design, refined visual design concepts and layout of print and digital/ website projects in demanding deadlines. I believe with the experience from working in a design environment, I have gained valuable insights on how to apply my professional skills.
